We are looking for an ambitious, proven digital marketer to lead a team and spearhead all marketing initiatives throughout the business

Looking to double their headcount in its Melbourne HQ, this start-up is looking for an ambitious, proven digital marketer to lead a team and spearhead all marketing initiatives throughout the business.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Develop and execute strategies for achieving digital marketing objectives across SEO, SEM, inbound marketing, social and online advertising
  • Responsible for re-marketing campaigns across all digital channels by understanding the full customer journey
  • Managing all paid search campaigns and budgets in-house
  • Working closely with the Product Manager, you will help launch and market new products that are released into the market
  • The strategic and tactical positioning of the brand in a competitive marketplace
  • Generating interest and education on the Betting category
  • Focus on customer retention to ensure sustainable growth (will work closely with product manager)
  • Optimise customer journey including communication throughout the journey
  • Manage agencies, a marketing team of 2 others as well as the membership services team, fostering a culture of high performance
  • Provide input into product development and positioning
  • Dissect and segment data to create personas to ensure tailored marketing campaigns are being sent out

What you will bring:

  • A strong, proven track record of successfully increasing revenue through commercially tracked, marketing campaigns.
  • Demonstrated experience developing a brand and sustainable acquisition of a customer database
  • In-depth understanding of performance media (including social)
  • Experience executing ATL campaigns
  • Ability to think creatively and outside the box
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • 5 - 8 years' experience working in Digital Marketing positions
  • Both tactical and strategic marketing experience, this role is hands-on and will require you to roll up your sleeves and get stuck in
  • Real passion for the start-up space with a can-do attitude to get things done
  • Experience managing key stakeholders and educating them around best practices for marketing
