What You'll Be Doing

  • Development and maintenance of Android application across all supported Android devices
  • Integration with backend services
  • Collaborating with world-class engineers on different layers of infrastructure

Who we are looking for

  • Deep passion for Android applications, always with the end-user in mind and the problem you're solving
  • Experience working with multi-service distributed systems, creating highly available and scalable systems
  • Strong knowledge of Android SDK and Java, different versions of Android and screen sizes
  • Appreciation for UI/UX, Google's Android design principles and interface guidelines
  • Experience with performance tuning, threading and optimizing offline storage
  • Familiarity with RESTful APIs, cloud message APIs and push notifications
  • Engineering best practices such as CI/CD, TDD, code versioning
  • Demonstration of keeping up with the latest and greatest technology trends and innovation - Kotlin and RxJava gets you brownie points
  • BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related subject
