We are sourcing for a Performance Marketing Manager / Growth Marketer to join the business. The role is full time permanent, based in the CBD outskirts .This is a unique opportunity for an experienced marketing manager to join an exciting global online travel company and help grow their presence within international markets - predominantly Australia / NZ, the Middle East, Hong Kong and Singapore.
This would be a role suited to a commercially minded marketer, who is well connected within and has a strong understanding of the Australian and NZ market. Ideally, you have come from a solid paid search/SEM & SEO background and possess a strong combination of both agency and client/in-house experience. International working experience is a major plus, as this role will focus on a variety of markets, not limited to just Australia & NZ. Candidates who are highly data driven, have strong acquisition skills/experience, have good programmatic skills AND who are happy to stay on the tools will be highly considered.
As mentioned above, you will need to be highly data driven and be prepared to engage in regular AB testing, and be able to make commercially viable decisions based off that data. A "No BS" approach works well here, calling it what it is, not settling for vanity metrics. A healthy competitive approach to marketing is also highly regarded here; someone who takes the right shortcuts and possesses a "hacker" mindset.
My client traditionally looks for T-shaped marketers/subject matter experts - candidates who have a specialist knowledge or skill set within one or two verticals, combined with a generalist understanding of other marketing channels.
You will report to the Head of Digital Marketing in this role, and work closely with the internal leadership team.
You will need to be able to get your hands dirty, not simply be a strategist. This role would suit a candidate with an entrepreneurial mindset; a go getter who is not afraid of a challenge. Someone who is self-motivated, rational and thinks things through. You will need to be a people person, and most importantly have empathy for your vendors, stakeholders and clients. A great attitude is essential to this role.
You will need to have proven experience launching omni-channel marketing campaigns, established strategic partnerships and possess some experience/involvement in mobile marketing.
Daily/general responsibilities would include the following:
Responsibility for building brand prominence (B2B and B2C) and expanding market share in Australia and NZ, as well as other markets across APAC
Derive and implementt strategies for positive ROI
Working with creative and comms team to create, execute and roll out marketing campaigns
Engaging in holistic and seasonal campaigns
