Develop a long-term, sustainable sales strategy in Australia to acquire SMBs
Work closely with the management team to set revenue targets for the business and for yourself
Manage the P&L and use your knowledge to of the SaaS revenue model to implement structure around forecasting, ARR, churn etc.
Be hands-on in developing the two main sales channels, Direct Sales and Channel Sales.
Create a feedback loop with the customer which can contribute to the product offering
Embrace the title of "player - coach" as you work closely with the team to ensure all of your collective success
Be a leader of an enthusiastic and passionate team, which you can mold into SMB sales experts
Be the voice of the business to SMBs across Australia, educating the market around this new model to manage one of their most vital assets - employees.
Develop the key messaging, attend tradeshows etc.
Implement structure into the sales cycle of the business for yourself and the team, this may include KPIs etc
Enjoy coffee and Beer, especially when home-brewed
To be successful in this role you will have the following:
Minimum 5 years experience in B2B sales preferably with experience in SaaS Sales to SMBs
A track record of growing a high-performing P&L, where you had to develop the go-to-market strategy for a new product or product segment
Be an excellent leader, manager, and motivator
Confident public speaker and an advocate for the business outside of just face-to-face sales
Excellent strategic/consultative skills
Be a self-starter and thrive in ambiguity
Experience working in a small business, new venture or startup
